The Highs and Lows of Life as an A and E Doctor.
Nick Edwards is a doctor working in A and E, who wrote down his feelings about the service of the NHS and what its really like to be a doctor on the front line. In Stitches paints a vivid picture of the daily goings on of A and E.
What a great little book, giving an insight into the world of A and E and what really goes on. This book focuses on the state of the NHS today (and although this book was written a few years ago, from friends who are working for the NHS I know not much has changed). It also provides little insights into the weird and wonderful world of Accidents and Emergencies people. It’s a good book to just dip in and out of and gives small chapters on different stories and rants of Nick Edwards. He is both witty and informative which made this book easy and amusing to read.
