Run Mummy Run - Cathy Glass

Run Mummy Run, is a novel based on a true story. Aisha joins a dating service she has found in the paper, and finds the perfect match. But what is so perfect turns into her worst nightmare. How far can she go to escape her life and save herself and her children.

Why read - Cathy Glass is one of my favourite authors, and I love reading her books, and this was the next one on my list to read.

This novel was quite a small book, and therefore only took me a few hours to read (and most of that was in one go).  It followed the same vein and writing style of her previous books, although this was a novel whereas her usual books are more factually based. It had me gripped from begging to end, although i roughly knew what was coming (unfortunately with these kinds of novels they generally all go the same way.)  I was hooked on the story and found it enjoyable??? (can you say a book like this is enjoyable) to read.

My only criticism was it felt too short. It had a great set up and the ending could only have been the length it was. However i found the main body of the plot a bit lacking and short. We took so long with the set up she seemed to have missed the middle. At one point Glass jumped seven years and i felt that those were the important years in the story to get fully to grips with whats going on and to get you really involved with the characters.

In conclusion another well written, good book by Cathy Glass, although it was a little too short and brief for my liking.
