Memoirs Of A Teenage Amnesiac - Gabrielle Zevin

When Naomi wakes up in a hospital bed, she has no recollection of what has happened, nor in fact can she remember the last four years.  She doesn't remember her parents are divorced, who her friends are, or who her boyfriend is.  She begins to patch together the fragments of her life and discover a whole new, and different Naomi than the one she left behind.

Read - When i first saw this book i assumed (wrongly) it was loosely based on a true story.  However it looked interesting so i thought I would give it a read.

Being a teen book didn't take me too long to read this novel.  I quite enjoyed this story, you remember what it was like to be a teenager and how you are supposed to do certain things to be popular, but not actually wanting to do them.  Naomi gets a second chance at life and gets to rethink her pervious decisions and some of those choices baffle her. Although those choices are not explained they are hinted at and you get the gist.   Its a very light hearted book, aimed towards teenagers so its fun to read without having much depth. I found i couldn't put this book down, as well as laughing out load at some bits and groaning at the typical teenage decisions within this story.

Overall i quite enjoyed this book, it was as light hearted as i expected, quite good fun to read, and entertaining.
