Without Fail - Lee Child

Jack Reacher walks alone. No job, no ID, no last known address. But he never turns down a plea for help. Now a woman tracks him down. A woman serving at the very heart of US power. A woman who needs Reacher's assistance in her new job. Her job? Protecting the Vice-President of the United States. Her problem? Someone wants the VP dead.

Why Read - I was lent this book by a friend of mine, I have not read much of Crime Thrillers and thought this would be a good one to explore.

I have not read much crime thriller books and was advised this is a good one to read, as i have been informed Lee Child is a good author.  I enjoyed the story, it was well formed, kept pace and was a good story to read. Unravelling the mystery of the killer or potential killer of the Vice President, and the way the story was laid out you were not sure who the killer could be.

I felt myself gripped throughout the novel and found it an enjoyable read, one that kept me amused and entertained throughout.  It does feel like a run of the mill crime novel but not necessarily in a bad way. The kind of enjoyable book you can loose yourself in and kept you amused whilst reading it.  I feel like I would like to explore more of this genre from reading this novel and especially will look out for more Lee Child books in the future.

I think this was a good book to read, and great if you love this genre. A good book to delve into and amuse you with. The plot was good and kept you interested throughout.
