I have heard mixed reviews about Danielle Steel and unfortunately this was not a good example of her work. I found this novel incredibly predictable, and typical of the chick lit genre. I found the book dull, boring, and unemotional. She wrote so matter of factly and almost monotone. Their was no excitement and this book was defiantly laking that spark, that originality, that uniqueness. It felt like a churned out novel with no thought behind it, no love and no emotion. Very disappointing.The only redeeming feature was it did at least flow, and i did not feel like giving up on it. You could plough through it easy enough, it just did not grip me at all. What a shame.
